United Way of Greater Plymouth County Launches “Community Partners in ACTION!”


 
United Way of Greater Plymouth County partner agency, The Salvation Army of Plymouth, is able to serve those in need at their  food pantry thanks in part to a United Way grant

BROCKTON, MA - United Way of Greater Plymouth County has launched a social media campaign highlighting the work done in the local community in collaboration with its 23 partner agencies throughout greater Plymouth county.  United Way helps to fund 44 initiatives in the area of health, education and financial stability at these partner agencies. 

“We are excited to share some of the fantastic work done by our funded partners.” said United Way of Greater Plymouth County’s President & CEO Dennis Carman.  “It is amazing to see what can be accomplished when we all work together.”

United Way is sharing the work of its community partners in action on its Facebook page and in its newsletter. 

A recent agency highlight shared on Facebook is that of the Salvation Army of Plymouth.  United Way’s Facebook post reads “United Way Community Partners in ACTION! Thanks in part to your support of United Way of Greater Plymouth County, The Salvation Army - Plymouth, MA Corps, provided 1,608 grocery orders and 10,721 meals in Carver, Kingston and Plymouth.”
