United Way to Induct 17 Individuals into its Volunteer Hall of Fame
Plymouth, MA – On Wednesday, April 26th, United Way of Greater Plymouth County (UWGPC) will induct 17 long time friends and supporters into its Volunteer Hall of Fame. At the ceremony, the Volunteer Hall of Fame plaque will be revealed along with a brief program.
“We are thrilled to showcase 17 outstanding individuals in greater Plymouth County who have gone above and beyond to support our local community,” UWGPC President & CEO, Dennis Carman said. “The Hall of Fame first began back in 2004 and we continue to add to it.”
The volunteer inductees are Fran Dillon, Stonehill College; Joe Kameese, American Bookkeeping Solutions; John Kent (posthumously) retired teacher; Bruce Marquis, Salon Esprit; Jim Marsh, Law Office of McGrath & Marsh; Bill Matteson, Rockland Trust; Bill McCann, Wells Fargo; Mark Moreau, HarborOne Bank; Peggy Page, Plymouth Center for the Arts; Wally Peckham, Wally Peckham CPA; Elaine Reiser, Former Director of BAMSI’s Helpline; Cheryl Showstack, CS Consulting Services; Shailah Stewart; Peggy Watts, HarborOne Bank; Kevin White, BlumShapiro; Barrie Young, Plymouth Pilgrim Museum Board Member; and The Clipper Ship Foundation.
The UWGPC Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on April 26th from 5:00PM – 6:00PM at the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce. All are welcome to attend.
