Patti is our Administrative Assistant at our Brockton Family Center since November 2020. She takes care of the office and makes sure it is organized for everyone. She orders supplies, screens phone calls, directs clients to the appropriate staff, collects intake information, works on special projects, and is there for anyone who may have questions. Her favorite role currently is the opportunity to meet and get to know all of the amazing staff!
Previously, Patti worked in Boston as an Administrative Assistant, but then retired. After a year of retirement, she wanted to jump back in to a part time job close to home to be able to use both her experience and knowledge to help others. She has a background in the legal field with a degree in Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies, as one of her ambitions was to become a lawyer working to improve injustices.
Patti feels she has truly made a difference at two points in her career. First was during her time speaking at the State Legislatives about the “no bail” warrants in regard to Restraining Orders. Second was as a Parent Specialist while working with Mass Advocates for Children to help organize the first published edition of “Helping Traumatized Children Learn”. If Patti could make one, big, positive change to the world it would be ensure future generations are more accepting of people who are different from them, as well as to teach everyone to treat others how they wish to be treated.
Patti loves to spend time with her family, as she holds her family very dear to her. She also enjoys going to the movies, music, and learning new things.
