United Way Welcomes New Talent to its Board of Directors
United Way of Greater Plymouth County’s Three New Board Members

BROCKTON, MA - United Way of Greater Plymouth County (UWGPC) is pleased to announce that three new members have joined its Board of Directors: Mary Fuhro, Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Officer at Good Samaritan Medical Center; Michael McCarthy, Vice President, Relationship Manager, Commercial Lending at Eastern Bank; and Jim Smith, First Vice President and District Manager/Community Liaison at Rockland Trust.
“We are overjoyed to have Mary, Michael and Jim lend their talent and expertise to our Board of Directors!” said Dennis Carman, United Way President & CEO. “Each member brings a unique set of skills and a fresh perspective. Together with the rest of our team, we continue to live our mission of uniting people, ideas and resources to improve the lives of people in Greater Plymouth County.”
All three members began their board term this July.
