Lt. Governor Congratulates United Way of Greater Plymouth County for Launch of the South Shore Regional Network to End Homelessness!

United Way was selected by the state Interagency Council on Housing & Homelessness to convene the new South Shore Regional Network to End Homelessness. Lt. Governor Tim Murray addressed a crowd of over 100 community leaders at Stonehill College on February 27th to commemorate the launch of the network. United Way and its partners, Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc. (BAMSI), Quincy Community Actions Programs, Inc. (QCAP), South Shore Community Action Council and Father Bill's & MainSpring will receive an 18 month grant of $837,913 to develop homeless pilot initiatives to end family and individual homelessness in the Brockton, Plymouth and Quincy areas.
