Jared Rogers is the Director of Resource Development at United Way of Greater Plymouth County.
Previous to joining the United Way management staff, Mr. Rogers operated in the food & beverage industry, especially in craft beer and spirits, over the last seven years in different facets, most recently at Cape Cod Beer serving as a Territory Sales Representative managing hundreds of on-premises and off-premises account relationships within the Upper and Off Cape territories.
Before his time at Cape Cod Beer, Jared Rogers worked as an Outside Sales Representative for Westfield River Brewing Company and Tobacco Road Distillers operating and managing in Eastern Massachusetts from the New Hampshire border, Boston, to the South Shore. Within the craft beverage space, Jared also worked for Citizen Cider as an Events and Tasting Ambassador. Outside of Food and Beverage Jared has worked as a Marking Manager for a managed service provider for cyber security platforms, internationally in Dublin, Ireland, for a food safety and research firm, and in different capacities within the real estate sector.
Jared attended and graduated from the College of Wooster in 2020. He received the Dean’s Scholarship Award while earning a Bachelor of Arts with a degree in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations and a Minor in Spanish. During his senior year, Jared completed and defended his Independent Study, a yearlong self-designed research initiative examining the impact of state identity on independence movements in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Catalonia. During his time at Wooster, he was a member and student coach of the Men’s Varsity Lacrosse team and was selected as a member of the Future Alumni Network.
When Jared is out of the office, he loves cooking barbeque for his friends and family, fishing around the Cape, and going to the beach. He also likes historical documentaries and learning about new subjects.
Jared has been a North Shore native for most of his life but has been a resident of Cape Cod for the last couple of years where he has been visiting family and friends for his whole life.
